This child needs help!!

As an 8 years old girl living in the Morgan village next to Rawai Beach. Little ‘Muay’ lives with her single mom. Her mother doesn’t have any permanent job because she can’t read and write. Occasionally with luck a neighbor might gives her a small job to earn a little but this  is a rare. So on the days without a job, she will go down to the beach, pick and sell sea shells which usually earn herself about 50 baht a day! She cried while we were talking about helping her family. Muay always misses the school because she doesn’t always have the 20 baht per day needed for her lunch. We found her on our first day visiting the village. She was there with other children somewhere trying to feed herself a little mussel she had found. (see above picture)
